HISTORY
The banana history is closely related with East Mythology, because it is considered as "the paradise fruit"(instead of apple) that the snake tempt Eva with. Before adopting the name of "banana" the fruit was called "paradise apple".

The first comment on this fruit is found in some Indian records from the VI Century b. C. going finally to Egypt and Palestine around 650 year a.C. The word banana comes from a derivation of Arabian word "banan" that means "finger".

CULINARY USE
In spite of being consumed as a fruit snack, it is also an ingredient of some cereal mixtures used for breakfast with any addition of milk or yogurt.
