ASPECT AND DESCRIPTION
Wellknown palm of enormous alimentary and economic importance in many tropical countries,
of 25 m. High. It is original of Malaysian and Polynesian although today is very
diffused in tropical zones. They are used many abilities of the palm tree but the nut or
wheedle is the more useful, for this reason have crossed several varieties cultivated,
obtaining palm trees that produce of 100 to 200 coconuts each year. The common noun cocos
drift of the Portuguese word that means monkey, because the coconut is looked likes the
face of a monkey, nucifera means that it produces nuts. |

CULINARY USE
The pulp of the coconut is very used in the kitchen of Indonesian. It is also very used in
candied fruits, bonbons, tarts, and etcetera. |
