CHIMICHURRI (Condiment for Argentinean Barbecue)

INGREDIENTS: 
Garlic Granules
Chilies
Marjoram leaves
Parsley leaves
Paprika

HISTORY:
During the independence war against Spain in the 19th Century, an Irish, who sympathized with the cause, was accompanying the General Juan Manuel Belgrano’s troops. One day he asked the soldiers in charge to cook the barbecue permission to prepare a sauce as condiment for the meat. He mixed all ingredients and rest is only history… For the soldiers his name (Jimmy McCurry) was very difficult to pronounce, for that reason they called this sauce “Chimichurry”.
 

DESCRIPTION:
It is a mixture that combines very well with white and red meats and sausages.
 

CULINARY USE:
After its hydration with vinegar and addition of salt and olive oil, there are necessary thirty minutes to use it.

This delicious sauce is utilized to condiment white and red meat and it is indispensable in the Argentinean barbecue.
