CHIPS
|
 |
| What
is a chip? Generically talking we
could say that it is a self-made product because it needs an additional stage for its
expanding, that is fried or hot air (low fat snacks).
Ingredients:
The raw materials used to produce a chip are basically integral potato flour, potato
starch or cereals flour. No other kind of additive is added.
|

|
Shelf
life:
The chip comes conditioned in strong boxes with polyethylene inside, allowing a shelf life
not lower than 1 year (dry place and ambient temperature).
|
|
Fried
versus healthy products:
There are several vegetable
oils that can be used: palm, starch, peanut and soy. The final content of oil in the fried
product oscillates between 20 to 30% depending on the kind of chip chosen, determining
that the snack is more healthy than a traditional potato snack where the oil content
oscillates between 35 and 45%.
Types - forms:
The variety of chips is a very large
group of types and forms. We have since traditional two-dimensional to sophisticated
three-dimensional forms. |
